Meet the Team.

A local lad from Auchtermuchty, Jim has gained his experience through working in a number of fields - from barrowing rubble to accounting - in the property industry for over 20 years and has amassed a great deal of local knowledge.

Jim's main role is in project management and his forte is the design process which has encompassed shops, hair salons and pubs.  His eye for detail is evident in the many local properties that have been improved by Myres Newlands and his dedication to research saw him visiting twenty six pubs in a single day.

Jim believes that the continual investment by the company into the fabric of residential and particularly commercial properties in Cupar has provided attractive places for people to live and work and has helped sustain a thriving town centre.

James Valentine - Partner

Monty Roberts - Partner

Monty has been involved in property since 1989 when he opened his first estate agency in Auchtermuchty.  After a number of years the focus became providing mortgage advice. Around this time he also became involved with the establishment of a new law firm and thus the stage was set for his entry into the property market as an investor.

In 2003 he joined forces with Jim and they both started Myres Newlands.

Monty is responsible for obtaining suitable residential and commercial property for the company.
